The Manly-Warringah Montessori Society
Farmhouse Montessori School is governed by the Manly-Warringah Montessori Society (MWMS). It is a non-profit limited liability company registered under Section 24 of the Companies Act, 1961, and operates within the dictates of its Memorandum & Articles of Association. Family membership of the Society is a prerequisite for enrolment.
The MWMS is led by a Board of Directors made up of a Chairman, Company Secretary and up to five Directors. The members of the board along with the Head of School are responsible for setting the directions for the school and ensuring that its goals and objectives are met in line with its constitution, and all legal and regulatory requirements governing the operation of the business are met.

Manly Warringah Montessori Society is committed to ensuring that there are appropriate systems and processes in place to enable:
- Good governance and management of the Farmhouse Montessori School
- Accountability to all stakeholders
- Compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements placed on the organisation
- The organisation to remain solvent and comply with all its financial obligations
